This album cover is quite abstract. The band is a rock band and the image of plants in a glass is a contrast to the music as the picture is bright and the music is darker than the feel of the picture. Also the room the glass container is in is in black and white which is another contrast to the brightness of the plants. there is also light coming in through a window you can see in the corner of the picture, there is bright sunlight coming through but as it is in black and white, the colourful glass container takes dominance over the picture. The title of the CD, Vivarium, has a modern text that looks as though it has been edited by a computer into a futuristic style of text.

This album cover shows the singer Katy Perry for her album One of the Boys. This album cover is very colourful, but it isnt bright. The sky is cloudy and the sun doesnt look like it is shinning but she is still lying on a sun lounger with a sun hat on. She is holding sun glasses as though she has just taken them off as the sun has gone in and she is sitting up and looking around as though she is looking to see where the sun has gone. Everything surrounding her is pink and girly, but the name of the CD is in blue which is linked to a boys colour, and also in the title of the CD it says 'boys' so the name and colour links together. The whole picture is old fashioned. The CD player is one from the 60's, the white picket fence links into the idea of being from a different era. Her clothes are from the 1960's as well, they have been in fashion and come back into fashion this  year. There is a plastic flamingo in the background reflects the 60's era. The flowers are bright and colourful, they fit in well with the set. Also the pink ruffled blanket and round pink pillow are from a different time period. This set reflects Katy Perry's personality and suits being the cover of her CD as she is bright and colourful and her style is on of a different decade.

The cover of this album shows the singer, Drake, from a lower angle to make him seem more powerful and dominant. The picture is blurred around the edges and the shadows on his face make him seem like a statue, as though he is perminant fixture. the shadows make him seem like there is a darker side to him. The red colour reminds me of blood and also it is linked to warning, the black colour is showing the darkness in him. The artist sings in a rap genre.
