1) I learnt a lot from filming the Britney video. I learnt how to use the camera's at the school, i also learnt how to edit on what we has already filmed on the computers. I realised that you have to plan well before starting to film as otherwise you will end up using valuable time planning it as you do the . I have also learnt how to count the shots and that there are a lot more shots in the video than you initially realise. The filming took a lot longer that i thought it initially would. I realised that if i wanted to put a dancing scene in my video i would have to be a lot more prepared and practice more so it looks more professional. Editing is quite hard but since i have learnt how to use the technology the school provides it made it easier. Something that i learnt from filming was that you can not alway be sure that people will turn up on the day of filming so you need to have back-up. I realised that taking one shot of the scene i was filming would not be enough and i would need to take 3 or more shots to be sure that at least one would be good to use in the final video.
2) The part of the process that i enjoyed the most was learning the dance scene and being able to laugh at other people not being able to do a dance move. For me this part was the best bit as i got to know my group more and we enjoyed filming our version of Britneys song 'Baby one more time'.
3) I think doing the Britney experience will help us a great deal in doing our final piece for our coursework as we have learnt how to use the camera and editing equipment before filming. We also know to take more than at least three takes of each shot so as we dont have to go back and film the scene all over again.
4) I think my strengths were counting the scenes and working out what everyone should be doing and were people should be standing as to get a good shot and helping to minimise having mess ups in the shots.
